Timothy G. In 2010, Mr. Denny began his three years overseas service as a member of the FBI Budapest Organized Crime Task Force, where he worked daily with the Hungarian National Bureau of Investigation. In this role, Mr. Denny addressed EOC and brought about cooperation with the Hungarian, Spanish, Austrian and Czech Republic governments on matters of mutual interest and regional concerns.
Upon Mr. Denny’s return to the NOGTF, he partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration. This joint investigation utilized undercover operations and wiretaps which resulted in a nationwide street gang roundup. He then was assigned to investigate counterintelligence and subsequently transferred to the St. Louis Field Office.
Mr. Denny served on the New Orleans Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team for 13 years. As a SWAT team member, he conducted hundreds of high-risk warrants, violent fugitive arrests, and joint operations with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. He held the positions of Operator, Breacher, and Sniper Team Leader. He gained extensive experience planning, coordinating, and executing complex tactical missions. He also conducted security protection details for the Attorney General and FBI Director at home and overseas. In addition, he established and implemented security operations in support of numerous high-profile protection assignments such as the Super Bowl, Sugar Bowl, collegiate football national championship, Mardi Gras, Final Four and the New Orleans Saints football organization.
In 2019, Mr. Denny was temporarily assigned to Department of Defense, European Command, Joint Interagency Counter Trafficking Center located in Stuttgart, Germany.
Mr. Denny was recognized with many FBI awards as well as private industry awards by the New Orleans Metropolitan Crime Commission for Excellence in Law Enforcement and the Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association to name a few. He is a certified FBI Tactical and Emergency Vehicle Operations Center instructor and a certified FBI Counterintelligence Special Agent.
Prior to the FBI, Mr. Denny was a Missouri State Trooper where he specialized in vehicle accident investigations.
