Prior to beginning his private consulting career, Mr. Kane was a veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for almost 27 years, where he developed an expertise in criminal investigations, strategic planning, crisis management, and tactical leadership of comprehensive investigative operations worldwide.

He has supervised and successfully resolved numerous investigations to include kidnappings, extortion’s and terrorist incidents. He has been responsible for numerous special events ensuring adequate security procedures were implemented based upon the level of threat. He has developed and implemented numerous policies and procedures regarding response to a variety of crisis situations and been assigned as the FBI on-scene tactical commander for a variety of operations both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Kane was selected to the FBI Hostage Rescue Team and became a team leader of this elite FBI group. He deployed on investigative matters world-wide in furtherance of U. S. interests. Prior to his retirement, he served as the agent-in-charge of the crisis management program and the FBI rapid deployment team based in Los Angeles from 1994 until 2001. The team was poised for 24 hour national or international response to any terrorist incident or other crisis situation.

Beginning in 1984 with the Los Angeles Olympic Games, Mr. Kane was involved in all aspects of security preparation for four Olympic Games concluding with the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been responsible for security planning and coordination of multi-agency tactical responses to a myriad of other events to include the LA Riots, World Games, the International Games, the Super Bowl, the Mens and Women’s World Cup Soccer Competition, and the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.

In 2003 Mr. Kane founded RCS and organically expanded the company to provide a national reach with offices located throughout the country and in London. The RCS staff is comprised of a cadre of former FBI professionals and analysts with expertise in a multitude of investigative matters. These include computer forensics, cyber security, due diligence investigations, complex investigations, threat management services and electronic countermeasures. The firm has been referred to by the media as the “Private Sector FBI” due to our vast array of investigative expertise.

Mr. Kane continues to utilize his and his firms extensive investigative expertise by providing services to a variety of law firms, major corporations and municipalities. RCS also represents various high-profile individuals providing security and investigative expertise on a variety of personal matters that could significant impact their families, brand and future careers.

RCS provides their clients with realistic result oriented strategies with timely deliverables. The firm is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA with offices in New York City, Houston, Texas and London.

Mr. Kane has lectured extensively on current topics impacting security and safety, crisis management, threat mitigation, and workplace violence. "Members on this website are “retired” FBI agents, many who are “licensed” Private Investigators [PIs], independent contractors and vendors who promote and sell their services as consultants to members of the public, public and/or private industry and/or local, state and/or federal government.

As consultants, they “contract” out their services to conduct criminal/civil investigations, provide litigation support, conduct due diligence inquires, provide executive protection and conduct background screenings, offer expert opinions concerning investigations, do electronic sweeps and counter measures, provide drug screenings, offer forensic accounting services, and conduct surveillances, as well as locate assets and/or conduct other research.

As a result, members command fees for their services.  This is “not” a free service.

Before any services will be expended, most members will require a “nonrefundable” retainer fee totaling $1500 - $2500.  The amount of the retainer fee will be set by members during contract negotiations.  And some members command “nonrefundable” retainer fees totaling $5000.
